About Me

I am a 25 year old, graduate student attending the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I am in the Master of Arts in Teaching Early Childhood Education. My dream and goal is to be a Kindergarten or First Grade teacher. I love working with children, it is always a lot of fun. I am a giant child on the inside, when I went to Disney World in March 2014, it was the best experience of my life.

I am a princess, I know it, and soon you will too. I am very used to my parents taking care of almost everything for me. I have never had to cook for myself since my father is a chef. I have never paid for a haircut since my mom is a hairstylist.

My parents came to North America in the early 1980's. I love their love story because they met in Vietnam when my mother was about 17; through determination and will my dad kept finding her and married her. They married in 1984, my dad was willing in Victoria, Canada at the time while my mother lived in Silver Spring, MD. My parents learned and earned everything in this country just to give my brother and myself a comfortable life. Who are the people I aspire to be? My parents, they are the most hardworking people. I regret not appreciating everything they have done for me my entire life, but those teenage years are always the "I hate my parents" years, right? I absolutely love talking to them. I talk to my mom almost everyday and try to come home to their house every week. I have had a comfortable sheltered life because my parents wanted me to have everything they did not. They want me to be happy and make enough money to live comfortably on my own.

Am I embarrassed about how little I know about life and the world? A little. Am I going to blog about all the hilariously embarrassing aspects of my life? Definitely. I am honest about myself and my life. I am more than willing to make fun of myself because I believe that you cannot laugh at others if you cannot laugh at yourself. I love to laugh at myself and others.

Why am I blogging?
On December 14, 2014, I moved into my friend, Hyman's house. He was already living with my friend, Young. I started to blog after moving in with them because I thought it would be an interesting experience to write about. I moved out of my parent's house because the house is closer to school.

This is the first time I am living semi-independently. My first night in the house was disastrous, I clogged the toilet. Positive of the situation: I learned how to use a plunger. Negative of the situation: My new roommate, Hyman, had to teach me. This to me is hilarious. I have told almost every person I regularly talk to about it. I was texting my brother as it was happening as well.

I am not a shy person about my milestones and my short comings. I thought it was would fun to share about it with other people so they can laugh with me about my failures and learn something new about it too. I highly doubt about anyone else learning about it, but I am a little of a optimist.

Just a couple of princesses
